Bridgetown, Barbados, June 26th, 2014, (CDEMA) – The Fifth (5th) Meeting of the CDEMA Council of Ministers will convene on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Hilton Hotel in Barbados. The meeting will be attended by Ministers and Permanent Secretaries with responsibility for disaster management within the CDEMA Participating States. The Council is the highest level decision making body in the CDEMA governance structure and will discuss several key matters requiring their approval and endorsement for implementation by the CDEMA Coordinating Unit and Participating States.

Bridgetown, Barbados, May 16th, 2014 (CDEMA) - A one week Workshop aimed at assisting Grenada with the development of a five-year Climate Smart Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM) Country Work Programme (CWP) document will be conducted at the National Stadium –Players Level 1 Conference Room, from May 19 – 23, 2014, between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
