SITUATION OVERVIEW:
Regional and international partners are maintaining close coordination to facilitate the shipment of relief supplies into Jamaica in support of ongoing response efforts. The Rapid Needs Assessment Team (RNAT) continues its field assessments to evaluate the extent of damage and identify critical areas requiring humanitarian assistance and support. The high-level delegation from the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH), and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) met with Dr. The Most Honourable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica, today, November 2nd, 2025, and discussed CDEMA’s support from pre-deployment to the present, current gaps, and opportunities for further support.
